We offer first stage processing of material.  This includes sawing, shearing, punching, drilling, plate burning, iron working , and light fabrication.  We also maintain our own fleet of delivery trucks, which allow us to offer on time and dependable delivery options.

PRODUCTION SAWING

Besco Steel of Nashville operates three production saws. Our saws offer the ability to hold tight tolerances and help to provide our customers with the quick turn times they have come to expect. We can saw material up to 18” in Diameter, and up to 60’ in length.

PLATE SHEARING

We operate a 144” plate shear. We are capable of shearing plate in a thickness range of 16 gauge up to ½” thickness. This allows us to provide our customers with a wide range of custom cut plates and sheets.

PLATE BURNING

We have a Computer programmable oxygen acetylene burning table that can accommodate up to an 8ft by 20ft sheet. We can burn a wide range of shapes, sizes, and custom parts in a range of 3/16” up to 3” thick. We also have a track burning torch system that allows us to quickly strip out plates in the same size ranges.

IRON WORKING & WELDING

With our Piranha 90 ton ironworker we can quickly produce shims and base plates. Also, we provide our customers with punched angle that they use as brick and block lintels. Our Ironworker, combined with our welding center, allows us to also provide our customers with custom column post and pipe bollards. As always, quick turns on all processed and fabricated orders are priority. “Same day pickup” of custom column post and pipe bollards, are common place at Besco Steel.

DELIVERY

We offer free delivery of orders over 500 lbs within our Middle Tennessee Delivery area. We also are one of the few steel service centers to offer jobsite deliveries.
We maintain our own fleet of delivery trucks and are known for our “call ahead” service and same day deliveries.
